On Monday, June 15, Meridian welcomes Chef R.J. Yoakum for an exclusive one-night-only tasting experience in collaboration with Executive Chef Eduardo Osorio. After spending over three years at Thomas Keller’s Michelin three-star The French Laundry, Yoakum has become one of the country’s rising culinary talents, recently earning recognition as a James Beard Award finalist in 2025. Now leading Sushi Kozy, a Michelin Bib Gourmand recipient, Chef Yoakum joins Chef Eduardo for a special tasting menu experience centered around seasonality, technique, and thoughtful collaboration. This multi-course tasting menu will blend Meridian’s hearth-driven cooking style with the local agricultural influence and refined approach Chef R.J. is known for, creating a unique evening that highlights the best of both chefs’ culinary perspectives.
